If you are looking for something exciting to do this summer, there is a new adventure park in Virginia Beach.  The Adventure Park at Virginia Aquarium opens Saturday, May 31.  It is located on five wooded acres on the Virginia Aquarium’s  campus and has more than 170 platforms installed in trees.  These are connected by cables, wood, rope and zip lines.  There are 13 trails for ages 5 to adult.  According to the Adventure Park, each trail has varying difficulty levels from beginner to expert.

 

Hours of Operation:

 

Open weekends for General Admission Fridays 1PM-11PM, Saturdays 9AM-11PM, and Sundays and Holidays 9AM-7PM.

Open 7 days a week for Group Reservations.

Summer Schedule

Monday-Thursday 9AM-11PM

Friday-Saturday 9AM-11PM

Sunday 9AM-7PM

Fall Schedule

Ticket Pricing

 

Age 12 & older: $51

Ages 10–11: $45

Ages 7–9: $41

Ages 5 – 6: FREE (Each child must be accompanied on course by an adult. One adult per child)

Twilight Special (Age 7 and up) - Available last three hours of the day and valid for the remainder of that session. $36

A ticket is not required if you are observing or accompanying a climber.  There are benches located throughout the park for your comfort.
